KHALID MUHAMMAD ON COMMANDELEVEN

As Director General and founder, Khalid Muhammad has brought his 27 years of international experience together to build his team to deliver comprehensive, fact-based, actionable intelligence analysis for private organisations, institutions, government policy, media outlets and the armed forces. He has written extensively for domestic and international publications, as well as being a guest on numerous programs to discuss Pakistan’s fight against terrorism.

Khalid was raised in the United States and prior to starting CommandEleven, he was Managing Director of the emagine group, a Karachi-based multi-disciplinary marketing firm. Khalid spent 2 1/2 years on the battlefield in Swat as part of the Awami Laskhar (People’s Army), an armed militia raised alongside the Pakistan Army to fight the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from 2007-09 in his home district of Swat.

In his spare time, he is a bestselling author, having written Pakistan’s first English language spy thriller, Agency Rules: Never an Easy Day at the Office, based on the reality of mujahideen returning to Pakistan after the Soviet invasion was defeated in Afghanistan.

Today, in addition to guiding the direction and operations, he provides tactical and comprehensive analysis into terrorist/extremist groups operating in the Indian sub-continent, including recruitment, financing, operations and warfare strategies.
